As part of activities marking this year’s Boki New Yam Festival, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Youth Development, Dr. Julius Obanghe Kijuo, FRGP, KSJI, demonstrated an exceptional act of compassion by visiting patients in various hospitals across Boki.
Dr. Kijuo offered financial assistance, shared words of hope, and empathised with those battling ill health. According to him, the gesture was aimed at ensuring that even those confined to their sickbeds feel included in the spirit and joy of the New Yam Festival, while expressing faith that God would grant them swift recovery and reunite them with their loved ones.
