He bagged the award during the Faculty's annual dinner held on Saturday 6th June in Calabar.
The Awards was in recognition of his doggedness, courage and intelligence in field of publsihing and Journalism in Cross River State.
Following the award, Comrade Mfam said he was overwhelmed with gratitude as he accepted the prestigious award as the Best Journalist of the 2025, dedicating it to the pursuit of truth, the power of storytelling, and the relentless quest for excellence in journalism.
In his words;

This award is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the unwavering support of my colleagues, mentors, and loved ones who have guided me throughout my journey.

"Thanks to the organizers, the selection committee, and everyone who has made this possible. I am proud to be a journalist and a law student. I look forward to continuing to inspire and be inspired by my senior lawyers, fellow law students and journalists.
