It's was another display of dignity and splendor as the 21st century digital women Leader of the ruling party Dr. Betta Edu bags Award of recognition as the Best Female Politician of the year at African Iconic Women Recognition Award

This Award is following her antecedents and political prowess in campaigning, women Mobilisation across the country and the deployment of her medical expertise  at underserved areas to campaigning to secure the win for the election and administration of President Bola Tinubu who was sworn into office on May 29th, 2023 

Dr. Betta Edu is one of the most promising young female world politician of the year in her mid 30s whose political activities broke the glass ceiling, ensure women have their rightful place which they deserve in politics. She is a trailblazer given her outstanding performance during the 2023 general election campaigns which the ruling party had never had such an energetic National Women Leader in its history.

Winners of various awards were selected by International panel based on the impact they are having in their home countries and how they have used their position to motivate and empower other women and even youths in their home countries bearing in mind the low level of female participation in politics and the need for more female participation.

Dr. Edu's prestigious recognitions came timely as a result of the giants strides she is making toward a society where there should be a balance between women and men participation in politics.
