C'River PDP Support Group Congratulate Atiku and Sandy Onor, Makes Case for Wike, Jarvis as Running Mates for Atiku, Sandy

A People's Democratic Party support group based in Cross River State, known as Concerned Compatriots and Trust Atiku Support Group has congratulated the Party's Presidential and Cross River State gubernatorial Candidates, HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar MA and Sen Prof Sandy Ojang Onor respectively on their successful emergence during the just concluded party primary elections. 

In a message signed by the Director General of the, Comrade Eliman Eliman, they pleaded with the National leadership of the party to consider Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Sir, Arthur Jarvis as running mate to Sen. Prof Sandy Ojang Onor of Cross River State.

The group argued that governor Wike has shown enormous capacity as a sitting governor and has what it takes to pull votes for the South South and South East for the party during the presidential election slated for 16th of February next year.

In the same vein, the group appealed to the National Party administrators to consider Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong as the Deputy Governorship candidate for Sen. Sandy Onor if the party must win the state with a large margin. Stating that Jarvis represents the new face of the party in the South and will have an all round appeal across the 7 Local Government of the South. 

The group which has called on all it's coordinators across the 196 wards of the state to begin grassroots sensitisation and mobilization towards the General election also used the medium to congratulate all other candidates of the party who emerged during the party's primary elections. 

We want to seize this opportunity to equally send our warmest congratulations to the 3 Senatorial district candidates of our great party, PDP, Ntufam Ekpo Okon, Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe and all the House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly candidates across the State. Let me state categorically the need to specially Congratulate Hon Ikobi A. Ikobi and Barr Attah Ochinke my immediate constituency House of Assembly and House of Representatives candidates for their emergence. This is a victory for all Boki 1 and Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency, this victory will be sweeter when we clinch the actual victory in the 2023 general election considering the caliber of candidates the APC has presented for House of Assembly and Reps respectively."

Eliman furthermore urged all party members to bury their differences that might arise during the primary elections and close ranks to ensure a greater victory for the party come next year's elections.
