While facilitating with the entire Christians in Boki 1 Constituency, Cross River state, and the entire Nation, the honourable member called on them to use the occasion for deep and sober reflections on why Jesus Christ came and died for mankind at the cross, she also urged christians to pray for the sanctity and healing of the land attacked by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a message made available by her Media; stated as follows...
1. I sincerely congratulate The Good People of Boki 1 Constituency, Christians and Nigerians on the occasion of Easter, to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ which is the reason for the season.
2. I urge you all to ensure the virtues of Love, Peace, Harmony, Humility, Honesty, Prayers and Sacrifice inbuild in Christ, same of which he practice during his life and ministry on Earth, are seeing visible in their day-to-day lives and endevours.
3. I charge the Christian leaders and faithfuls to preach humanity and be benevolent throughout every interaction. Noting that we're in a trying period, what's pertinent is building a fellowing of love.
4. I advise that you pray in your respective Churches, i enjoin you to pray to God for total victory over the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world over.
5. Finally, I pray that this Easter should bring to our life colour, brightness, joy and, of course, lots of chocolate eggs and bunnies.
