Re-election Bid: Senator Jarigbe Agom dumps PDP for APC

 

Senator Agom Jarigbe, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Senator Jarigbe represents the Cross River North senatorial district in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.

In June, Senator Jarigbe reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP, vowing not to defect despite the wave of defections rocking the party.

Sources claim that the senator's defection is linked to his hopes to be reelected in 2027.
