Jacob Kingsley Dakim Who is widely known as Bigeli is from Arangha, Iso-bendeghe in Boki local government area of Cross River State.
Bigeli started his professional music career in 2013 and counting down till today, he's becoming a firebrand Musical hit Star and notable in the music industry. Bigeli is also an Actor and professional fitness trainer.
Below is an excerpt of his interview with Boki Blog;
Can you please introduce yourself to our Readers?
I am Jacob Kingsley Dakim, with Stage name ‘Bigeli’ Born in February 11th 1995 to late Police Inspector Jacob Abang Ajom and Mrs Dorothy Besong Jacob at Arangha, Isobendeghe in Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State of Nigeria.
Tell us about your educational background?
I Attended St Thomas Primary School isobendeghe in Arangha village in Boki LGA and secondary education at Methodist Comprehensive High School In Port Harcourt Rivers state. I also a diploma in the University of Potharcourt, Rivers State.
We heard you're a Music Artiste, how true is that?
Yes, that's Very True. I Have Been in the music industry professionally since 2013

What motivated you to go into music?
From my childhood, I have always been Listening to Music from Other Professionals like 2Face, Jay z,
R Kelly, PSquare, Chris Brown and the rest of them. With the love and inbuilt Talent in me, it began to improve and the passion grows.
What inspired your passion for music and who has been there supporting you from the beginning?
Everything that happened around me, Both Positive and negative Situations inspired me and also every good Instrumental I listen To Brings out the Vibes in Me. My Family Has Always been my greatest support Team

Do you think it's hard to succeed in the Music industry?
In My own Point of view, I don't think so,
provided you can produce good hit songs and put it out in the right and recommended music Platforms, Pray and believe in God. I'm bsure uou will Get it Right And Easy.
What's your biggest collaboration with other Music Artiste?
I Have done Few Collaboration with Some Other Good And Emerging Artist and I Hope To get More Big Collaboration As I continue In My Career and Industry.
Nigerian Artist or Upcoming Artist, which would you rather prefer to be addressed as?
I will prefer To Be Addressed As a Nigerian Artiste.
Any challenges on releasing your singles?
By God Grace I have been Able to Sign Some Distribution and Marketing Deals, So For me now its no more challenging To Released New Singles.
What would you say is your greatest achievements as a Music Artiste?
My Greatest Achievement So Far was when I Baged ‘Best Performance Artiste (BPA) for Port Harcourt communities, carnival Awards (PHCCA) 2019 and Urban Contemporary Award (UCA) Port Harcourt 2019. This days Remains Special For me.
Do you have any other Awards to your musical career?
No other Award But Hopefully I am sure am heading for Headdies and other credible Award And Endorsement.
Can you really say you have fans?
Yes I can boldly say I have a strong and growing Fan base.
Do you have any other hidden talent aside Music?
Absolutely Yes. Acting and also I'm a fitness Professional Trainer
Do you need support? What area you need this Support?
Yes I need Support, Mostly In Provision For Shows and Concert And I need the Support from my home Land Boki In Particular.
I have struggled all through, particularly as I lost my dad in 2016. Poor finances has been my biggest stumbling block.
Who's your role model. Is there any Nigeria artiste you admire so much and wish to be like?
In Nigeria 2Face idibia is my Biggest Role Model And Formally The Psquare.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
5 Years from now, by the grace God, I see myself going global.
