As I marked my Birthday today Saturday, 25th April, 2020, I join millions of well-meaning individuals to admonished Nigerians, Crossriverians and in particular Boki people around the world to know that corona virus COVID-19 is real.
I encourage our people to strictly follow the guide lines or measures by WHO to prevent the novel COVID - 19.
To that end, let's obey Government directives of Social Distancing, Stay at Home order, use Alcohol based hand sanitizers, washing of hands with soap regularly, avoid touching your mouth, noise and eyes and use face masks if you MUST necessarily go out.
It is true that many are dying globally as a result of this deadly pandemic and many more are been infected. If we adhere to medical professionals instructions, together we will defeat this invisible enemy called COVID-19
Most importantly, stakeholders responsible for the fight against Corona Virus should discharge their duties dispassionately and not to see this as an avenue to annex wealth in expense of the lives of our people.
I commend all the front lines workers who are putting their lives on line to save many. Our love goes to them and their families. Trust me, in a short while, we shall over come this war.
