Mayowa Durosinmi-Etti, Founder and National Coordinator, Farmers Wealth Forum an agricultural advocacy initiative organized an edition of Agri savvy and media influencer award to celebrate youths doing exploits in Agriculture across Nigeria.

Farmers Wealth Forum is visioned to standardize the level of Agriculture in Nigeria through improvement in farming system and to restore Agriculture as the bedrock of the communal and individual wealth in this nation as it used to be in the time past.

Mayowa, stated the key objectives to news men who aimed to; To educate the populace on the process of sustainable agriculture through proper awareness and experts linkage also, To encourage the mass of the youth to embrace agriculture through a sustainable means.

David Peter, a graduate of the University of Calabar were he studied Soil Science. He established a Non governmental organization, Africa Farming Students Association (AFSA) as an undergraduate to foster agricultural skills and acquisition to Tertiary scholars across Africa. 


Boki Blog interviewing David Peter, He expressed his keen enthusiasm towards the bring about of this organization "AFSA".

Peter speaking, "Back in my university day's, i discovered there's a huge constraints on agric scholars, skillfully gaining technical experience to explore after the graduation is a major challenge. Also, 80 percent (%) of agricultural graduates do not commercialized agriculture after school". 

Continuing, "This opted me to initiated the organization Africa Farming Students' Association (AFSA) on a mission to motivate, educate and inspire enthusiastic scholars to pursue career's in agriculture as well intensified undergraduates with a 90 (%) percent hands on learning experience via its collaboration with multi agricultural agencies at both local and international level. AFSA emerged winner at the, "2018 Ghana SDGs Achievers Award on Zero Hunger" 

"Currently, I am humble to testify that AFSA is present across diverse Africa institutions; Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Cameroon. In addition, AFSA is currently in Southeast Asia; Philippines and northwestern Europe; United Kingdom the country director are also serving as an international executive to the organization to enhance growths and foster its international recognition" he said.

David Peter, gratified the farmers wealth forum on his nomination as an awardee on his interview with Boki Blog; an addicted agricultural and political news webs.

Peter expressed, "my foremost encomium is dedicated to God Almighty for his grace and consistency towards my agricultural goal. Also, i lowly appreciate the Executive Project Manager of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen. Prof. Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade, KSJ for enabling a greener economy a technocrat agro-role model; also, an exemplar case study for young people to embark on agriculture in Cross river state".

He added, "i strongly believe this will encourage prolific agro young scholars and my principal officer, Governor Ben Ayade to strides more towards attaining his agricultural industrialization and Zero hunger. However, he has promised and assured C'riverians "Nigeria will hear us soon" and, I erect strongly behind his agricultural revolution" Peter ended.
