Itam Abang Congratulates Gov. Ayade on Election Tribunal Victory

The member representing Boki 1 constituency in Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang, has congratulated Governor Ben Ayade on his victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

The tribunal on Thursday dismissed the petition by the All Progressive Congress (APC) and its candidate, Mr. John Owan-Enoh, and affirmed the reelection of Mr Ben Ayade.

Reacting to the judgement in a message made available to Boki Blog, Rt. Hon. Itam Abang said: “The judgment of the tribunal has again put a judicial seal on the mandate freely given to the Governor by the people of Cross River State in the 2019 Governorship Election.”

According to her; "Victory for Governor Ben Ayade is victory for the entire Cross River  State and I urge  the governor to continue his good works across the state.”

She said "The people of Cross River State have great expectations from the Next four years of the Governor Ben Ayade and I pledge my full cooperation and that of the people of Boki 1 constituency. Congratulations."
