The Reality Campaign Network welcomes the Federal High Court judgement in Abuja for affirming Sir Victor Abang as the authentic candidate for the Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency in the 2019 polls.
The Camping team described the judgement as a welcome development for the progress of peace and transparency.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court Abuja, in his ruling, affirmed Sir Victor Abang as the authentic candidate for the Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency in the 2019 general elections.
The Judge ruled that the plaintiff, (Victor Abang) having scored the highest number of votes during the primaries for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, is entitled to have his name forwarded to INEC to contest the 2019 polls.

Juatice Dimgba described the initial substitution of Victor Abang's name as illegal, null and void and of no effect whatsoever.
The court ruling compelled INEC to recognise and publish the name of Victor Abang as the candidate for the House of Representatives seat of Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency of Cross River State for the 2019 general elections.
The Campaign Network expressed satisfaction with the judgement, saying it has proven that the court "is the last hope of the common man".
The judgement also shows the confirmation of the victory of Sir Victor Abang, a.k.a 'Mature' and his overwhelming popularity and love by his numerous supporters and their desire to vote for him during the polls.

However, the Campaign team disapproves the method and mannerism of those who don't agree with Mature's team, we however, conceed them the right to hold contrary opinion.
The Reality Campaign Network condemned in totality, any form of violence perpetrated by some individuals on behalf of the Network team.
The Reality Campaign Network maintained that the team does not associate or sponsor violence of any form, hence, solicit the support of all women, men, youths and stakeholders with a view to win the federal slot in 2019.
The Campaign Network expressed gratitude and appreciation to all faithful members for their steadfastness, prayers and solidarity in the candidacy of Mature while the case was in court.
The group, however, solicit the votes of all electorates in Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency in 2019 with a pledge to provide robust an effective representation for the benefit of all constituents.
The Reality Campaign Network appealed to other party men who also contested for the position to sheathe their swords, close their ranks and work together with the party to win elections in 2019, no victor no vanquished.
