In a spendious manner, despite the heavy rainfall that greeted the day, it however, didn’t disrupt one of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirants, vying for the seat of Representative at the National Assembly, Barrister Tina Banku Agbor, as she fficially declared her ambitions to represent the Ikom/Boki Constituency.
Barr. Tina Agbor is the former Secretary to the State government (SSG) and has proving her worth within the three years that she was appointed by the Cross River State Governor, Professor Senate Ben Ayade in 2015.
In what was like a crusade, the people of the Constituency turned out enmasse to embrace and support the political ambitions of an energetic and amicable personality, who has always put the people first in her agenda.
The people defied the rain as they witnessed the Barr Tina Agbor’s official declaration to run for the hot seat at the chamber in a bid to transform and ensure total growth and developmemt in the Constituency.
In attendance are top government functionaries, Chiefs and traditional rulers, who came to grace the occasion.
Barr Tina Agbor showered 11 Wards in Boki N1.1million and Ikom N1.1million before giving Chiefs N100, 000 and women N100, 000 as a sign of gratitude.
“My ambition is to build the youth and create a spring board for the youth to actualized their potentials.
“My ambition is not born out of desperation because I am fully ready to represent the good people of Ikom/ Boki in the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, Boki youth chairman who spoke in the occasion stated that Barr Tina Banku Agbor remains one candidate that deserved their support in 2019 general elections.
“The truth is Barrister Tina Banku Agbor is humble, accessible, passionate and always having the interest of the youth at heart.
Also, the various chapter/ward exco of Ikom and Boki endorsed Barr. Tina Banku Agbor.
Besides, women also endorsed and drum support for her because she has shown capacity as SSG.
