The executive Governor of Cross River State Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade Emerged winner in the just concluded Governorship Primaries in the People's Democratic Party.

 The Primaries which he contested with the former publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, Hon. Emmanuel Ibeshi was a seemingly tough one considering the fact that Hon. Emmanuel Ibeshi is a stakeholder in the party.
