She said; On this auspicious occasion of Nigeria’s 58 Independence Day, I convey my warm greetings and felicitations to all the people of Boki 1 Constituency.
As we celebrate 58 years of freedom, let us recall the country’s struggle to attain independence from the foreign rule and its long enduring journey to emerge as a strong powerful nation, and let us take a moment to salute the pioneer leaders and all the brave patriots who had sacrificed their lives for the freedom and future of this country.

Today, Nigeria is considered one of the most powerful nations in Africa with growth indicators in all significant areas to become an economic superpower in the near future. As a constituency unit of this great nation, it is our solemn duty to work for the unity, strength and development of the country.
On this important occasion, I would like to appeal to all the people of Boki 1 Constituency to extend sincere suppport and co-operation to the development of both the federal and state government, which call for active public participation for the progress and prosperity of our state and join the rest of the country in its race towards building a New Nigeria by 2019.
Our Boki nation is embedded with gifted youths who can transform Boki and the entire Cross River State. I am here today to remind my fellow youths that transformation starts with you. It's a fact that, "My life will not be defined by a single political campaign. Those will come and go. But what has driven me to run for elected office in the past still drives me today: the knowledge that heroes do walk among us with tremendous strength and power".
