Boki Sons Association Worldwide, A socio-cultural, international and philanthropic group of Boki indigenes, has distributed exercise books worth thousands of naira to best performing students across government primary schools in Boki LGA of Cross River State, as part of its effort to promote education in the area.

The distribution which commenced on Wednesday, 8th May 2024 began with Primary schools in Ogep/Osokom, Ekpashi, and Kakwagom/Bawop wards respectively.

Speaking to Boki Blog, the National President of the association, Mr. Bukie Mendel said the group is looking for ways to help and inspire the younger generation. In his words; "We are an association that is looking for a way of helping and inspiring the younger generation to redefine and encourage students to pursue excellence in all they do"
"This is a way to motivate brillians students to know that it pays to study hard". He said.

"We have commence in Ogep ward, Ekpashi ward
and Kakwagom/Bawop wards. By tomorrow we will get to Boki 1 constituency" he added.

During the visit to the first set of schools,  the Head Teachers in their separate remarks thanked the association for the gesture, adding that it would go a long way in assisting the pupils in their academic pursuits and performance.
