Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency: Eliman Eliman Appointed DG of Labour Party candidate, Hon Austin Kanong

Hon (Chief) Eliman Eliman has been appointed Director General of the Labour Party candidate for Ikom/Federal Constituency, Hon. Austin Kanong campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections. 

Hon. Kanong who selected Hon Eliman, a PDP Starward says he is more comfortable working with a DG who cut across Party lines than limiting his chances to Labour Party. In his words "Eliman can galvanize support from all young people across Parties for a successful outing". In his response, Hon Eliman expressed his appreciation to Hon Austin Kanong for finding him worthy of the office of the DG of his campaign.

When asked whether it won't amount to Anti-Party, Eliman said, "anti-Party is not done in the open, my brother was graciously given the Ticket of Labour Party to run for an office some people contested in several other Parties and didn't succeed and you expect me not to support him?"

"It will amount to witchcraft. We are already in touch with our Lawyers for INEC to issue an authentic Certificate of Return to Hon Austin Kanong the authentic candidate of the Labour Party for the Ikom/Boki Federal constitution".

"We will contest the election and God's willing with the people with us we will win". He said

"We already know our opponent in the APC and waiting to know who will emerge from the PDP after the rerun. We have our people with us and we will release our Campaign itinerary as the National Assembly Campaign kicks off".

"We will be at the CRBC and other media houses from next week to talk about Hon. Austin Kanong's emergence and unfolding our plans for the good people of the Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency. We are already having high-profile meetings and call traffic coming in. We have the people in our support. Any attempt to forge any letter with our consent will amount to electoral fraud which is a grievance offense".

"INEC has promised us and we have confidence in INEC and the Court, the hope of the common man if anything goes wrong. watch out as we heat the Ball rolling". He added
