The Talent Hunt is aimed at discovering young and upcoming talents that will represent the state at the festival, which is scheduled to take place between November 2nd and 25th this year.

With this exercise, the state is targeting the number one top spot in the medal table.

The Chairman of the Commission, Comrade Emmanuel Elom, who unveiled the plans at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar said its target is also to come up top among the first five positions.

“What we are doing now is what is proper in preparation for Delta 2022.

“We want to showcase what the governor, Ben Ayade Administration has been doing in terms of supporting sports development.

“So we decided to undertake the Talent Hunt and we have discovered ten outstanding talents in the Northern Senatorial District, including a particular girl who has beaten our records.

“We have also done so in the Central Senatorial District and at the end of the programme we will pick talents who are ready for the task ahead”, he said.
