2023: Adegoke woos PDP delegates in Cross River

Ahead of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary election in Cross River State, an aspirant, Mrs. Imah Nsa Adegoke has taken her campaign to PDP deputy chairmen, secretaries and market association in the state.

Mrs. Adogoke told the delegates that she is the party’s choice and not an option for her agenda to materialize.

Addressing delegates and journalists at the event center in Calabar over the weekend, Ms. Adogoke appealed to the delegates to join the shift agenda of her administration in bringing back the state glory.

She said: “despite the glaring failure of governance, the praise singers continue to laud the supposed efforts of lack lustre government like the proverbial King who walked naked in the street”

Mrs Adogoke said her mission in politics is to change the narrative by bringing in good governance to the people.

“Imagine that the Cross River State Government budgeted N19m every month for bottle water instead of fixing water board and making it functional for the benefit of the people”, she lamented,

“My vision is to shift the cycle of injustice and inequality in the governance of Cross River State, to achieve this is there has to be a paradigm shift which will be pursued by my administration”

Mrs. Adegoke, however, solicited for the support of delegates to make her the candidate of the party at the primaries.
