The Boki First Lady lamented lack of access to menstrual health and hygiene products, education and sanitation facilities by vulnerable teenage girls as she pledged to make a critical intervention to stem the challenges.

According to Mrs. Ewa, “the purpose is to create awareness, build confidence in the girl child, and knowing that she can attain her full potential irrespective of their environment or background”.

“Another purpose is also for her to take charge of her life and resist any form of violence or assault” she added.

In could recalled In March, the wife of the Executive Chairman of Boki Local Government Area, Mrs. Rufina John Ewa, visited Abija Community in Beebo/Bumaji Ward of the Council area to mark the 2021 International Women's Day celebration amongst other outreaches.

No doubt; Mrs. Ewa keeps showing commitment to create a better living condition for the women and most importantly, the girl child.
