Communities in lkot Anwatim, Ikot Ansa in Calabar Municipality LGA of Cross River State, have hailed Governor Ben Ayade for the construction of roads and street lights in their areas.
Representing the Communities, Chief Patrick Bassey Offiong thanked the Gov Ben Ayade and team from Newmap for seeing the Project to a logical conclusion , the residents were also visibly elated.
The Community's representative, Chief Patrick Bassey Offiong charged the Hon. Commissioner forInternational Development Cooperation, Dr Inyang Asibong to relay their appreciation to him.
In her remarks, the Commissioner assured the communities that before the rainy season commences, the contractor, Zenith construction, will complete and hand over, she assured them of more projects that will add value to the community. "She prayed that God will give our amiable Governor the grace to do more."
According to the Commissioner, "You will appreciate the good works of the Governor through the NEWMAP project if you visit the community of ikot Awatim in Ikot Ansa.
The Newmap team were happy with the Progress of work done so far by Zenith construction.
