The Secretary to the State Government Barr Tina Banku Agbor has commended  the initiative behind the creation of  Nigerian Bar Association Young lawyers forum in the country.

Barr Agbor made the commendation in her office in calabar today when the chairman  and executive members of Calabar branch of the forum paid her a courtesy call.

She opined that the forum will allow the young lawyers utilise their youthful strength, energy and digital ideas  to enhance the growth of the legal profession.

The SSG thanked them for  appreciating the achievements of the Governor Ben Ayade 's administration in the state noting that much has been achieved despite the lean finances at the disposal of government and pledged assistance to them.

Earlier the  Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum Calabar Branch Barr. Michael Nkwam felicitated the SSG over  her able representation of the policies and  programs carried out by the state government as well as her astute management style in the discharge of her duties .

 He enumerated some the programs earmarked for execution by them to include advocacy  on legal rights, setting up of a functional  Secretariat among others and sued for support. He later presented some copies o legal publications to the SSG.
