The Councilor representing Abo Ward and Majority Leader of the Boki Legislative Council, Hon. Osang Pius Kejuo has condemned the arrest of Community Leaders in Biajua Community by the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police, as he demands immediate release of the victims.
The Arrest which was facilitated by the Community Chairman, Mr. Francis Ojong popularly known as Eze Ego was said to be unnecessary and unworthy, following a meeting held by the ward Councilor to negotiate peace between the parties.
After the reconciliation meeting of Wednesday, it was reported that Mr Eze Ego at about 2am of Friday, came into the Community with Police men and Arrested some leaders of the community.
Arrested was Hon Enu Bessong, Mr Abang Obum and Community secretary Mr Ochua Owan.
The Ward Councilor, Hon. Osang while condemning the act, demanded immediate released of this persons.
