Following the Coronavirús pandemic situation in the country, the organizers of Boki Business Conference (BBCON) have announced the postponement of the 2020 event until further notice.
The BBCON event which had it's maiden edition last year was scheduled to hold between May 19th - 23rd 2020.
The postponement was made known in a statement by the Convener of the Event, Mr. Pospi Otuson on Facebook. The statement reads;
POSTPONEMENT OF BOKI BUSINESS CONFERENCE (BBCON) 2020
Following the trend of The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic In Nigeria and the World at large, and working in line with the Cross River State Government to contain and prevent the pandemic from attacking the state on a widespread, we have postponed the 2020 Boki Business Conference till further notice.
We have carefully studied the current situation, consulted both the Calendar, people and common Sense and came to the conclusion of changing the date of this event as we'll decide on a new date in due Time.
• #BokiBusinessConference2020 event which was to hold from 19th - 23rd May 2020 has been postponed until further notice.
• We regret all inconveniences this may cause to our registered participants and those yet to register.
We assure you that we'll make sure all our resource persons are available on any date we decide after this Covid-19 situation.
We urge all our registered Participants, Boki people and Cross Riverians to stay safe during this period, wash your hands regularly with soap and running water, apply hand sanitizer, make use of Face mask and maintain physical contact and social distancing.
Play your part so together we'll win this fight against the COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
