Nigerian politician and lawmaker representing Cross River North at the 9th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is reportedly dead. 

Oko was elected in 2011 into the 7th National Assembly to represent Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency. In 2015, she was elected into the 8th Senate, in 2019 she's reelected into the 9th Senate. She reportedly died as an incumbent lawmaker. 

Born on the 27 September 1956 to Agbo Ojeka from Opkoma in Yala LGA, the alumnus of the University of Calabar passed on about 6 hours ago being 63 years old of age. 

According to a source, the Senator whom the source say was sick died in London.
