The 2019 Winner of Miss Boki World Pageant, Queen Ajima Mildred Akpi have reacted to the Car Ownership Saga which has drawn so much attention across Social media.
In the last 24hrs, Arguments have been raised claiming that Mr. George Akobor had taken ownership of the Honda Accord Car Price Presented to miss Boki on the 13th of December 2019 following her victory in the 17th August Grandfinale of Mr and Miss Boki World Pageant (Formally Kesad Ne Buseh Boki Pageant)
The arguments got to a high-gear after a Facebook post from a renowned Journalist, George Odok asking that the organizers of Banjuare Boki Festival should hand over the car award to the reigning queen, with a follow up titled 'Miss Boki Pageantry: Between the car and the organizers' posted in the early hours of Monday January 20th.
In an Interview with Glitz TV in Calabar, Queen Mildred had maintained that The Organizers didn't claim ownership of her car and neither was it siezed from her. Rather, she permitted them to use it!
According to her, "I was given the Car, then after 3-days my boss came to me that he needed to use the car. I gave him to use".
"So he later came back saying his car is bad and I should allow him use my car for some time and he was going to return it and I said no problem Sir, I gave him the Car". She said
"Later on I went to get it, he said he still needs the car that when he wants to travel to get his own Car as the car is bad, he will return my car" she added
Reacting to the swap car ownership rumour, Queen Ajima Mildred said; "The organizers are only using the Car and never siezed it. However, I'm waiting and hoping that my boss returns my car and then everything is settled, it's just left for him to return the car and then case closes" she concluded!
Queen Mildred Ajima also disregarded the rumour of her having issues with Organizers and a form relationship with the Convener, Mr A.G Akobor saying he is not that kind of person and she's cliched to him just as her boss and nothing else.
