Can you please introduce yourself to our Readers?

My name is Achu Justice Akan(jnr) aka J. CYPHER from Ebranta Boje of Boki local government area of cross River State, I am a civil engineer professionally and also do TAEKWONDO representing cross River and Nigeria in many tournaments.

But in all of this, music and spoken word poetry has taken a better part of me, I specifically call myself the Otu Agrinya 1 of Boki Kang Kang.

What motivated you to go into music?

I grew up in the Barracks listening to music at a very tender age and you know when one is unable to get satisfied listening alone, I started miming Tupac and many rappers and singers alike till I started doing my own thing. So my very first influence is hip hop before any other.

Have you released any music at all?

Yeah I've done so many songs and still doing, I did my first song in 2006.

What inspired your passion for music and who has been there supporting you from the beginning?

I was inspired by my excess love for good sound, many artist I listened to where not just rappers and singers but MC's and musicians, I know that only the best is good enough for the ears and so I delve into music to bring the best out of me for the listening pleasure of music fans world over.

Talking about support, the only support for my music so far it's been me myself and I. Everybody is open to support me.

Do you think it's hard to succeed in the Music industry?

Yeah, like every other field.

Nigeria Artist or Upcoming Artist, which would you rather prefer to be addressed?

(Laughs) Nigerian Artist, upcoming or up and coming is what anyone can term any one mostly because they think you are not loud enough (like a super star), but because I also who I am becomes the least of a problem to me if I'm addressed with any of those,  but I assure you that if you really want to know J. Cypher put me on the same show with the best.

Any challenges on releasing your singles?

Yeah, since everything is boiling down to money, so you must be in a financial position to achieve it to a reasonable extend.

Do you have fans?

Yes! I have fans across the nation.

Do you have any other hidden talent aside Music?

Yeah, I am a Poet and a Martial Artist

How can our readers connect with you on social media platforms?

You can connect me on Instagram @achujustice but to be rebranded to @iam_J.Cypher, And Facebook Achu Justice but to be rebranded to J. Cypher.

Do you need support? What area you need this Support?

Yes, support is needed financially because every aspect of push in this game is boiling down to finance.

Who's your role model. Is there any Nigeria artiste you admire so much and wish to be like?

Nasir Jones! But 2Face Idibia I admire and know that I am, if our bank accounts can be similar. (Laughs)

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I should see myself at the Apex of the game God's willing.

What advice do you have for young people striving in the music industry?

My advice for up coming Artist is

1. Passion for music

2. Working hard to develop your talent before making a promotional song because only the best is good enough.

3. Consistency in the push without looking back since all bridges have been burned.

4. Concentrate your efforts in just that one song you are working on as though it's the only song you will do before you die.

5. Believe in yourself and know that you are the best of your kind, resist from copying anyone, be original.

Wish you all the best.

What last word do you have for your fans all over the country?

They should expect the best because I would not do less.

At this point, I must say thanks for your time!

Thanks you and I appreciate you so much for welcoming me at Boki Boki Blog.
