The Anchor Borrowers Programme (ABP), is an agricultural programme, launched by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and is aimed to create a linkage between anchor companies involved in the processing and smallholder farmers (SHFs) of the required key agricultural commodities.

In a Statement by Arc Becy Onabe, Coordinator of Women In Agric Boki LGA has informed Boki farmers that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will be sponsoring Anchor Borrowers Programmes in so many Crops like Maize, Cashew, Tomatoes, Rice, Casava, Cocoa, Oil Palm etc.
According to Arc Becy; "Presently main crop on ground is MAIZE".
