Cross River State Journalist, Mr George Odok has received an award of excellence in Investigative Journalism by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Abi LGA chapter, following his strides in the field of journalism in Cross River State.

 The NAN Correspondent made this known in his Facebook update this morning; in his post which reads; 

 "Award of excellence in Investigative Journalism presented to me by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Abi LGA chapter, Cross River State, in recognition of my exploits in the field of journalism.

 A special thanks to the Youth Council for finding me worthy of this award. To me, the award is a call for more in depth research and investigative journalism reportage.

 I dedicate this award to my office, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) for giving me the platform to practice professional journalism in the 21st century. 

 Also, I dedicate this award to my wife Gina George Odok, for been a source of joy, inspiration and a worthy wife to me".
