Governor Ben Ayade has again reassured the civil servant's in Cross River of his dedication to their welfare as he pays them their may salary today, being 1st May.

 Sharing his opinion on the issue, Hon. Hillary Bisong, member representing Boki II Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, said it was indeed "a welcome development". He encouraged the civil servant's to also show dedication to their assignments as a way to encourage the workers-friendly governor.

 As at the time of this report opinions of the civil servant's have not been sampled on the issue.
