"I Had an opportunity to speak at the Global Development Forum in DC and a golden one at that since I was asked to represent Africa .

I spoke about the abundant opportunities for Africans especially as the continent with the fastest growing youth population on earth . Advocated for STEM courses to allow for technological innovation for better skills as the future of work will only require those with greater technical training .

And I used the opportunity to talk about my work with DC based Creative Associates in stabilizing states ravaged by violent conflict, extreme poverty underdevelopment and linking all of the Boko Haram crisis to lake Chad Basin and the amazing efforts by the organization in countering violent extremism across Africa and especially in Nigeria.

More importantly, I spoke about education for girls and how educating girls and empowering women with financial capital to start businesses in mostly rural communities have both economic returns and intergenerational impact and for Nigeria to improve on human capital development, it must increase her investment in education.
