A Long Stroll Contest is the biggest secondary school literary contest ever in Nigeria. It was organised by The Pius and Raphaela Foundation in collaboration with several partners as part of reviving the ailing reading culture among pubescents and adolescents, so there was need to put together a literary contest for secondary school students only.

Contest Details and Guidelines

Essay should be at least 750 words.

The winner of the contest goes  home with 250,000 (Two hundred and fifty thousand Naira) only.

The second best essay goes home with 100,000 (one hundred thousand Naira) only.

The third best essay goes home with 50,000 (Fifty thousand Naira) only.

School supplies amounting to 10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) will be donated to a total of 10 secondary schools on behalf of students who participated but did not make the win.

Deadline for submission is August 31, 2019. Winners will be announced on September 15, 2019.
