The Ndoma-Egba Train Traversed Central Cross River

As Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba rounds off his campaign visits to all the 10 state constituencies by Tuesday 11/02/2019, the large turnout of enthusiastic supporters and the warm reception in each of the 15 stops is a clear confirmation that he is indeed THE ONE THEY KNOW and will vote for come Saturday 16/02/2019.

Everywhere the team went, the people were clear in their message. They prefer the All Progressives Congress and Senator Ndoma-Egba as their senator in Cross River Central Senatorial District. From Ekukunela and Edor in Ikom on Wednesday 06/02/2019 to Ekureku  in Abi, Ugep and Ekori in Yakurr Constituency 1 on Thursday 07/02/2019 the story was the same. On Saturday 09/02/2019 the campaign team visited Ofatura and Obubra in Obubra 1 & 2 constituencies and as usual the reception by the chiefs  and people was resounding. Sunday 10/02/2019 saw the team meet with the Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo communities in Ikom LGA at different locations before proceeding to Effraya in Etung LGA. When Senator Ndoma-Egba visited Mkpani community for Yakurr Constituency 2 campaigns on 11/02/2019, it turned out to be a homecoming of some sorts as the people were receiving their own. Earlier in the day, the campaign went to the boisterous Ikom Main Market and Motor Park to engage with the Traders Union, Transport Union and Cyclist Union. The campaigns were rounded off today 12/02/2019 in Okundi (Boki 2) and Wula (Boki 1). It was a harvest of endorsements and royal blessings from the traditional rulers as well as touching expressions of goodwill and support from the people.

For Senator Ndoma-Egba, the core of his message was that the people of Cross River State, especially in the Central Senatorial District have had it very good with the APC government of President Buhari. He pointed to the reconstruction of the Calabar-Ikom Highway and the numerous strategic appointments including the Chief of Naval Staff, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Auditor General of the Federation, Special Adviser to the President on Prosecution, Director General of Women Development Centre and the Pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri which are all held by people from the Central Senatorial District. All these in addition to the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the Head of Service of the Federation make it indisputable that the State must support APC.

He enjoined the people to reciprocate President Buhari’s gesture by massively voting for him and the APC candidates in the coming elections including Senator John Owan Enoh for Governor, Dr. Alex Egbona, Mr. Egbe Abeng Egbe and Sir Victor Abang all candidates for the House of Representatives for Abi/Yakurr, Obubra/Etung and Ikom/Boki constituencies respectively as well as all the House of Assembly candidates across the 10 state constituencies of Central Cross River. The Senator also took time to educate the people on proper voting and casting of ballots and charged them to move into their neighborhoods for house to house campaigns to ensure massive voter mobilization.
