He said;

"On the 19/2/19, the Court of Appeal, Abuja division affirmed me as the candidate  of the APC for the Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, in the Feb 23rd, 2019 federal elections,after striking out the Appeal  filled by my brother, Hon cletus Obun.

I have since reached out to Hon Obun and together we agreed to unite our party, approach the general  elections with unity of purpose and ultimately win the elections for the good of the party and the electorates of the federal constituency.

The elections are to hold in few days and as democrats,we must do  everything to ensure a sane environment for peaceful conduct of the elections. We must forge on as a family to build our system for the good of all. Let's forget the ills of yesterday and build towards enhancing internal cohesion, and working towards a victorious end.

To supporters of Hon Obun, my appeal to you is for us to unite and cross the finishing line, as we enjoy a lot of support in the Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency . It was just a contest, we were never opponent's.

Everyone has a right to support any aspirant of their choice but it's now time to unite our party and work for all our party's candidates. Together we can win all the elections in our constituency".
