The Boki Nation has again lost a true son as Mr. Nicolas Kichi Akwo a Senior Special Adviser, SSA to Governor Ben Ayade on Wealth Creation dies.
Mr. Akwo had died on Tuesday after a long ailment said to have struck him 9 months ago as disclosed by Obi Ekwo in a facebook reply.
According to Calabar Reporters, Akwo was appointed two years ago alongside one thousand (1000) other Appointees.
Nicholas Akwo hails from Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State and his death has brought sadness to the heart of the people this festive season.
According to Obi Ekwo who shared the information on his Facebook timeline, said SSA was a philanthropist and will be missed by many.
He was sick and hospitalised for over 9 months at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH and he finally gave up the ghost today, December 25, 2018.”
At the time of this report, the State Government is yet to release and official statement about his death.
