An Unconfirmed report claim four persons have died, and some others injured as boys of the Boki militant group clashed with soldiers while approaching Isobendeghe community in Boki local government area in Cross River State. The clash which was said to have occurred on Sunday 23rd September, was said to have been fired up when the militant, boys in convoy where stopped at the military check point in Isobendeghe.
The militants who refused the soldiers request to search their vehicles, had a second batch which only arrived moments later. On arrival, the second convoy opened fire at the soldiers, which prompted the soldiers to return fire killing four and leaving some others escaping with injuries.
