The Men's Department of Assemblies of God Church, Okundi has today 23 September celebrated their 2018 National Men's Day at The Blessed Center Catederal Okundi, Boki LGA.
It Was an awesome event which kept everyone wondering as the annual celebration has not glowed this much in recent times that it had been observed, although just slide differences.
On The kickoff of the programme the men marched in uniformity coordinated by the Men's President Mr. Joseph Agbong, chanted their anthem and recided their ten directives and retired back to their seats as the program continues.
The Leader of Services acknowledged the presence of God and Introduced The heads of the Church and officials to the high table as follows; Rev/Pst Mrs. Eleazar Otuson (Senior Pastor), Rev/Mrs Michael Bisong (Asst Pastor), Deacon Alex Agbafour (Representing the deacons), Mr. Hilary Ugo (Youth President), Miss Helen Thomas (Ys/Missonete President), Mrs. Francisca Odama (Women's president), Mr. Sunday Ejunka (Prayer Leader), Mr. Joseph Agbong (Men's President), Mr. Laurence Kalu (Sunday school superintendent), Mr. Paul Nku, Mr. James Idoko, Mr. Samuel Otuh and others.
Reading The Welcome Address, Mr. Paul Nku with heart full of gratitude to God and deep appreciation, welcomed everyone to the 2018 men's Day celebration and that exactly one year since they last celebrated their day with theme "Empowered and Sanitized for Devine Service" which he recalled was unique and memorable in all aspects.
Furthermore, he expressed appreciation to God for another opportunity to celebrate the 2018 National men's Day with the theme "Manifesting the Glory of Revival" which would be full with God's blessings and lives lifted and changed in the glory of God.
Men are urged to live Up to expectations and responsibilities to their families and the church bearing it in mind that it is in trying times that great men are moulded.
The Men's President made a few headlines earlier at the event created a podium for Mr. Lawrence Kalu as the speaker of the day. The Sunday school superintendent, Lawrence Kalu spoke on the theme of the program urging everyone to manifest the glory of revival.
Awesome varieties where presented that kept everybody sitted and Smilling until closure.
