7 year old Ogar Joshua Ogar is a young tortoise hunter from Iso-bendeghe, Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State, Nigeria.
Joshua Ogar who's always seen returning from farm almost everytime with a living tortoise has made hunting tortoise his hobby and he is becoming a talk in the community, among his peers and people who know him.
After hunting, most times Joshua sells the tortoise to people who need it and keeps the money for himself.
"I bought one tortoise from him today" buyer told Boki Blog! Joshua has hunted up to 14 tortoises and he's sure to get more as time goes.
Boki is indeed blessed with natural animals and smart youths like Joshua makes it known to the world.
Joshua needs encouragement, support and empowerment. If he can start and develop strategies of hunting scarce animals like tortoise as a hobby, his hobby can be professionalised to assist in wildlife conservation and others.
