Gov. Ayade remains the best choice for Cross River State in 2019, Code 888 maintains

The Code 888 support group working for the re-election of Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River State, has called on residents in the state to vote for Ayade on March 2 governorship election in the state for Equity, Justice and Fairness.

Cross River State Coordinator, Hope for New Nigeria Global Initiative, Comrade Dan Obo Jnr., who is also the Head, Code 888 polling unit 2 polling unit mobilization for Ayade's re-election campaign, said it was important to re-elect Ayade in other to stabilise the political atmosphere in the state and balance the political power rotation.

Obo Jnr. who explained that Code 888 means 8 years of governorship slot that have come from the South between (1999-2007) when Mr Donald Duke was the governor, another 8 years governorship slot that came from the Central between (2008-2015) in the tenure of Sen. Liyel Imoke, maintained that is was divine that the northern part of the state be allowed to govern till 2023 with Ayade as the governor.

According to Obo Jnr., in view of the lofty programmes meant to uplift the living standard of Crossriverians and the industrial drive of Ayade, it was important to re-eleect him for another four years of service.

He added that he was rooting for Ayade's re-election in view of his wider outreach to youths in the state through job placement and political appointments.

The Director General of Code 888, Comrade Maurice Nkong, announce that the inauguration and flag off of the group will take place on Friday January 18, 2018 at Channel View hotel by 10 a.m prompt.

Nkong said that Gov. Ayade will be the Special Guest of Honour, while other top dignitaries that will also grace the occasion include a former Deputy Governor, Barr Efiok Cobham, Elder Dr Asuquo Ekpeyong, Barr Chris Agara, Dr Peter Ojie, Hon. George Obenechi, Mr Great Ogban and many others.

Comrade Nkong added that after the inauguration, the group will swing into polling unit to polling unit (PU2PU) campaign across the state to canvass votes for Ayade.

He used the opportunity to invite all sons and daughters of Cross River State to grace the event and support the re-election bid of Ayade for a prosperous Cross River State.
