37th Convocation: Major General Moses Obi bags UNICAL Honorary Degree In Peace & Conflict.

 

Former UN Force Commander, Major General Moses Bisong Obi (rtd), has been awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree of Peace and Conflict Studies by the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State.

The conferment took place during the institution’s 37th Convocation ceremony on Saturday 22, March 2025.

Other special dignitaries were also conferred with honorary degrees, including; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike awarded the honorary doctorate degree in Law, Supreme Court Justice, Emmanuel Akomaye Obi (Doctor of Law).

Expressing his gratitude, Gen. MB OBi acknowledged the Federal Government, The University leadership and the institution’s Visitors for the honor bestowed on him.
