As Nigeria marks her 64th independence anniversary, an aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Boki LG Chairmanship seat, Peter Oru Bette have charged Boki Nation to embrace peace and unity.
This was contained in a press release made available to Boki Blog on Tuesday. In his message, he maintained that the torch of Boki people will forever shine bright.
His statement reads "As we celebrate this occasion, may this day bring peace and unity among Boki Nation.
"May our people never rage against the dying of the light, because the torch of Boki people will forever shine bright". He said.
"To the good people of Abo, I say be strong and courageous; for our Lord will guide us through". He added.
