Senator Oluremi Tinubu wife of the APC Presidential Candidate and senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial zone was today ably represented by the APC National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu  as she rained business startups Items and startup funds on her constituents during her Women empowerment Program in Lagos. The Very Dynamic Sen Oluremi Tinubu, who spoke through the APC National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu  and the Lagos state Chairman of SUBEB Hon King Wahab, noted that women are the life wire of any society and nation. So the more women are empowered financially and otherwise, the better it will be for their families and society. 

She thanked her constituents especially the women for the overwhelming support which she has received over the years promising that as they go all out to get their PVC and vote for her husband Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and APC, they will do more to not just empower Women and mainstream women, but they will ensure Nigeria is fixed, greater and better.

Dr Betta Edu, the Women Leader speaking in her own capacity, called on lagosians to double effort as we expect a minimum of 5 million votes from Lagos state alone. She said we should encourage everyone to get their PVCs and come out early to vote as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is set to make a difference in our country. She said Asiwaju Tinubu, the winning APC Presidential Candidate, started twining and running with a female as a deputy. He employed many women into civil service, which has resulted in many Permanet secretaries todY in lagos. He brought a woman to head the lagos state judiciary and the list is endless of his track record in empowering the female folk. 

She praised Senator Oluremi Tinubu for raising the bar on leadership and quality representation in Lagos state and Nigeria. She said more women like Senator Tinubu should be supported to build a greater nation. She noted that her empowerment programs in her constituency have been consistent and very impactful. She called on the women to reciprocate by going all out to vote for APC 5/5. All APC candidates. She said that Nigerians would never regret voting Asiwaju Tinibu as their next president.

Others who spoke at the event were Hon King Wahab who coordinated the program, Hon Prince Olunsi the Chairman of Lagos Governing council, Women Leader of Lagos state Hon Jumoke Okoya Thomas, Chairmen of council and many others. Present was Hon Seun Osamaye President of Progressive Young women forum, Hon Shiro, Chairman of professional women in health, chairman Professional women forum Hon Joke, women in Media etc

The recipients who were overwhelmed with joy thanked Sen Oluremi Tinubu for being an exceptional mother to all. Most of them in tears said she has changed their lives for the better. The prayed sincerely that her husband emerged the President of the country so she can do more for women folk. Items used for empowerment were deep freezers, Generators, Business start up funds, amongst other items.
