The Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Jarigbe Agom has been affirmed as the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, candidate.
Agom who went unopposed was affirmed as the Senatorial candidate of the PDP for the February 2023 polls by a voiced vote of 153 ad hoc delegates and five national delegates who unanimously agreed.
Each ward in the five Local Government Areas of Bekwarra, Ogoja, Obudu, Obanliku, and Yala had three ad-hoc delegates while there was one national delegate for each Local Government Area.
