I received with overwhelming gratitude the news of a communique emanating from the stables of the Ikom People's Forum–a Pan-Ikom Sociopolitical apex body–wherein the Political Leaders of Thought in Ikom Local Government Area, unanimously ceded the seat for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency exclusively to Boki Local Government Area, in the spirit of oneness and fairness. Suffice to say that this humane gesture from the good people of Ikom is a reflection of their desire to pursue peace and oneness.
I am deeply elated by this welcome development given the fact that Ikom Local Government Area has chosen to walk the path of honor in keeping to terms with the rotation agreement between Ikom and Boki Local Government Area, thereby securing the future and setting a pace for the younger generation of Political Leaders in Ikom Local Government Area.
I want to sincerely thank all the Stakeholders who saw the need to come out with such a timely and expedient communique. It is now crystal clear that, it is purely the time of the good people of Boki Local Government Area to produce the next House of Reps member. It is Boki O'clock exclusively and as a proud Son of Ikom Local Government Area, I align myself wholeheartedly with the decision of the Ikom People's Forum.
