A Member of the Cross River State Carnival Commission (CRSCC) under Governor Ben Ayade Hon Ikobi A. Ikobi, has resigned his appointment.
In his resignation letter, which he made available to Boki
Blog on Thursday in Calabar, Hon. Ikobi
said that “ He could not compromise his concience to turn back against the People’s
Democratic Party (PDP) that has given him so much”

“I humbly forward my resignation of
appointment as member, CRSCC.
“I could not compromise my concience to turn
my back against the party that has given me so much, and against the lure of
morsel of porridge, i have have decided to dutch on the last strands of
integrity by staying put in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
“As a fairer opportunity deviod of coercion
and threats may present itself, i will not fail to render my devoted services
to the state governor in the days ahead to move Cross River State forward.
“I appreciate very deeply His Excellency,
Prof Ben Ayade for the opportunity given to me to serve Cross River State and
wish him well in the fold of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
“Please, accept my warmest regards.
