Following the directive given by the FCT Chief Judge on all political cases to be redirected to their originating states, the case bothering on the authenticity of the ward and Chapter executives of the people’s Democratic Party, Cross River state chapter has been redirected to Calabar, Cross River state.
The Presiding Judge of Court 9 FCT, Justice Jude Okeke who had earlier adjourned to today 25th June to rule on the motion for perpetual injunction declined jurisdiction based on the practice direction urging him to transfer same.
The case filed by National Assembly members trying to stop the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, the PDP, and Ntufam Edim Inok, Acting Chairman of PDP from altering the list already authenticated by both the NWC of PDP and INEC will now be heard in Calabar.
