Boki Woman Who Gave Birth to Triplets Receive N500,000 from C/River First Lady, Dr. Linda Ayade

Mrs Mary Kembre, 28, of Buanchor Community In Boki Local Government Area, who had gave Birth to Triplets on 31st December 2019, have received N500,000 and Other Items from the Wife of Cross River State Governor, Dr. Linda Ayade.

It can be recalled in a Facebook post by Mr. Nandi Bette in January, 2020 of the set of triplets, all girls, Born in the early morning of Tuesday, 31st December last year to this indigent Family of Mr and Mrs Kambre who were both Farmers with a 4 year old boy.

In the words of Mr. Bette; “For a community that registered 18 deaths in 2019, with the last corpse just lowered in the evening of the previous day, the arrival of the Triplets, delivered at the Community's Gov't Health Centre under the watch of a Community Health Officer, it was a morning of jubilation”.

The gift of triplets which was more of an additional burden to this poor Farmers, got good hearted individuals calling on the Government and general Public to support the couples. 

Barr. Paulina Kaka Nyiam who was in the Frontline, put in so much effort in a bid to give this kids a better life. In her frequent posts and phone calls, reached out to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Rt. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang, Boki 1 House of Assembly member, appealing to them to bring it to the knowledge of Her Excellency, Dr. Linda Ayade.

The Sum of N500,000, including other items was presented to Mr. saviour and Mrs. Mary Kembre, the parents of the triplets Today by the Commissioner for Humanity and Social Welfare, Blessing Egbara unbehalf of her Excellency, Dr. Linda Ayade.

The parents, Mr and Mrs Kembre and their families expressed their appreciation to everyone who ensured that the news got to Her Excellency, and also thanked the wife of the Governor for her love and kindness.
