At least eight people including men and women have been beaten and set ablaze by angry youths in Oku, Boki LGA, after they were reportedly accused of causing deaths and unrest in the community as sorcerers.

At least eight people including men and women have been beaten and set ablaze by angry youths in Oku, Boki LGA, after they were reportedly accused of causing deaths and unrest in the community as sorcerers.

The incident which occurred at Oku-Bushuyu community on Wednesday, claimed that those burnt were just alleged but not confirmed and were beaten unjustly, sources said.

Base on reports, a large and wild mob of angry youths stormed homes of the alleged, dragged them out, beat and threw them into a burning fire.
