The Senior Pastor of Celebrities For Christ Church (Light Embassy) Abuja and CEO of Xpossure! Rural Reach For Christ Foundation, Rev.(Dr) PJ Ochang has called on wealthy Nigerians to stop donating money to the Federal Government account.

“The covid-19 pandemic has made wealthy Nigerians to come out pitifully, in contributing to the Federal Government account or NCDC. Over close to 15 billion naira have been donated to the FG".

“I totally disagree with such philanthropic gesture. Why sending such amount to the Government over what they should have naturally and governmentally have put in place. Is hospital and equipment not government responsibility?  Such monies should be Chanel to the poor Nigerians, or if it must be for this purpose then it should be use to buy kits, sanitizers and food for the less privileges and poor masses”.

“Giving money to the government is another means of encouraging embezzlement, and even making the government to stay more irresponsible".  He said

"It is a governmental duty to build hospitals and equip it. Let the government do their duties".

"I want to use this opportunity to appreciate those who had given and please urges those who can give should please do so give out but not monies to the government account".

“All the clergymen who had given out kits, foods and cash to the Hungry society I appreciate all... Let's do more... Everyone of us can do our quarter in our own littler way.. This is the time to show love and care. This is what Christ Jesus teaches us about”. - he added

“Lastly it a more time for the church to unit and pray. This virus has gone back to hell. God has heal the land. Thank you Lord for showing us mercy"
