The Boki Urban Development Authority has said it has commenced activities towards sustaining clean and green environment for all towns and Communities of the local government area.

In a Statement signed by the Secretary of the Authority. It reads;

This is to inform residents, business operators and the entire public in Boki Local Government Area that as part of its mandate, Boki Urban Development Authority has commenced activities geared towards sustaining a clean and green environment for townships and all communities within it's jurisdiction in the LGA.

 Accordingly, members of the public are directed to:
1. Desist from dumping refuse in unauthorized places as spots for refuse evacuation shall be created soon. 
2. Desist from littering all public places via indiscriminate trashing of waste, unauthorized packing, unauthorized parks and roadside congestion.
3. Henceforth, no timber or logs are permitted near the roads or by the entry gate of any town or communities that fall within this jurisdiction. 
4. Defaulters shall be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
5. Note that a team  of Taskforce shall be set up to enforce strict compliance with the  above directives. 

Be sanitation compliant and help us keep a healthy, safe and clean environment.
