While the winners of Kesad Ne Buseh Boki Pageant 2019 are about their prices, the management of Banjuare Boki Festival has kicked off plans for the 2020 edition.
The Pageantry (Kesad Ne Buseh Boki) has however, gotten a name change as it will now be called Mr & Miss Boki World Pageant.
According to Mr. Akobor G. Abiam, the brain behind Banjuare Boki Festival; "the name change resulted from a contact with Miss Universe. It means that from next year the winner of Miss Boki World might contest the Miss Universe title if she meets the criteria".
Miss Universe Nigeria as it's originally known, was renamed 'Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)' after news publishers Daily Times lost its license to send delegates from rival contest Miss Nigeria to Miss World. MBGN Is a pageant organised by Silverbird Group with the main purpose of sending representatives to international competitions.
The main reason behind the change of title is simply to explore and expose the Boki Nation uniquely to the outside world.
